It’s no secret that most trade show attendees think Anaheim and Disneyland go hand-in-hand, but this Southern California metropolis – that we call home to one of our West Coast offices – has plenty more to offer. So, if you don’t feel like standing in line at a theme park all day or you’ve already “been there, done that,” this list has you covered.

We surveyed our Anaheim staff to figure out what restaurants, attractions and bars they deem “Anaheim and Orange County’s best.”

From fine dining restaurants and a speakeasy near the Anaheim Convention Center to a charming “Old Town” area and Major League Baseball games, this list offers a diverse selection of things to see, eat and do in Anaheim.

Higher-End Dining

Anaheim White House Restaurant - Not only has this fine establishment been serving up delicious Northern Italian food since 1987, its owner - Bruno Serato - gives away 1,000 meals per night to homeless children.
Napa Rose at Grand Californian - Upscale Californian cuisine, vast wine list and craftsman decor in Disney's Grand Californian Hotel.
The Ranch Restaurant & Saloon - Sophisticated mainstay features farm-fresh, seasonal steak and seafood in an elegant interior.
Bistro Bleu - Classic French bistro fare prepared with a Californian touch in relaxing, blue-walled surroundings.

Baci di Firenze Trattoria - Family owned Italian restaurant featuring a vast selection of pasta, pizza, salad and wine. Need we say more?
Slater's 50/50 - Famous for its 50% ground bacon and 50% ground beef patty, Slater's 50/50 features "Burgers by Design" and an impressive selection of domestic, imported and craft beer.
Blake's Place - Slow-cooked BBQ menu featuring salmon, ribs, brisket and chicken sandwiches. Excellent option for lunch or dinner!

The Backstreet Brewery - If craft beer tickles your fancy, check out the family-run Backstreet Brewery located down the street from Anaheim Angel Stadium.
Trader Sam's Enchanted Tiki Bar - Located in the Disneyland Hotel, this hot spot offers a variety of tropical drinks in a tiki-themed hut with special effects.
Kayla's Cake - Located in Downtown Disney, Kayla's Cake serves a fantastic assortment of desserts, from macraons to cupcakes.
The Blind Rabbit - This cozy and dark speakeasy with a hidden entrance is located just 2 miles away from the Anaheim Convention Center making it a go-to bar for many trade show attendees.

Things To Do

Catch an Angels Game - Located just 2 miles from the Anaheim Convention Center is Major League Baseball's fourth oldest stadium that is home to the Los Angeles Angels. Unwind from a busy day on the show floor with a little beer, brats and baseball!
Flight Deck Air Combat Center - Anaheim is home to an authentic military flight simulation center where you can test your skills on the same equipment that fighter pilots use to train.
Explore the Oak Canyon Nature Center - Situated in the Anaheim Hills and covering 58 acres, this gorgeous place features a peaceful stream, 4 mile hiking trail and a small museum - perfect for a relaxing early morning activity.
Watch the Mighty Ducks Play - Ok, so they may not be the "Mighty" Ducks, but the Anaheim Ducks play at the Honda Center, located just across the street from Angel Stadium.
Check out Adventure City - As a theme park that shares the same city as Disneyland, it may be hard to compete. Adventure City, however, is a more affordable alternative for those wanting to experience some rides and shows without spending a small fortune.
Shop 'Til You Drop at Anaheim GardenWalk - The GardenWalk is an outdoor shopping center that also houses a bowling alley, gym, an impressive assortment of restaurants and a 14 screen movie theatre.
Soak up Some Sunshine at Ralph B. Clark Regional Park - Sitting just outside Anaheim, Ralph B. Clark Regional Park has six softball fields and tons of trails and ponds perfect for cycling, hiking, boating or fishing.
Old Towne Orange Historic District - Just 5 miles away from Anaheim is Old Towne Orange - a cluster of quaint shops, old-time diners and ice cream shops. Perfect for a relaxing post-trade show afternoon!
